The   mandala,   a   name   derived   from   the   Sanskrit   word   for   “magic   circle”,   is   a Hindu   and   Buddhist   symbol   that   represents   the   universe,   its   energy.   In   the most basic sense; a mandala is simply a circle.  These   symmetrical   geometric   designs   are   traditionally   used   for   meditative purposes   by   drawing   your   eye   to   the   center   of   the   circle.      The   intricate patterns   in   mandalas   can   hold   a   special   significance   and   provide   a   focal point for meditation. The   Circle   has   been   universally   accepted   as   a   religious   image   of   perfection,   a shape of total symmetry, hermetically closed off from its surroundings.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
